Zukunft durch Innovation.NRW

Awaken curiosity. Experience innovation. Recognise opportunities: These are the core objectives of the joint initiative Zukunft durch Innovation.NRW, zdi, the goal of which is to encourage young people in the direction of technology and natural sciences and thus make an important contribution to compensating for the shortage of engineers in North Rhine-Westphalia.

This regional initiative has at its disposal various instruments and specific offers for both pupils as well as players from the business, scientific and education communities. Apart from a Pupil's Diary, Robot Competitions and Engineers' Days, these are above all the 25 zdi centres which are to be set up throughout the entire state by 2010 and offer state-of-the art engineering teaching for a specific region or town. Zukunft durch Innovation.NRW is an initiative of the Ministry of Innovation, Science, Research and Technology of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
